CHURCH'S CORE VALUES

1.  We value BIBLICAL INSTRUCTION

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired, perfect Word.  Therefore in order to share Christ and build believers, we study, teach and preach the Word of God.  In all that we do we seek biblical guidance and direction as we hold only to the truths we have been given through God's Word.  Psalm 119:11, John 8:31-32, 2 Timothy 3:16-17

2.  We value WORSHIP

We believe that God's Word instructs us to give honor, praise and glory to God in all that we do.  Therefore in order to encourage sharing Christ and building believers we consistently strive to magnify God with a pure heart every time our church meets.  Psalm 100, Romans 12:1-2, Revelation 4:11

3.  We value MINISTRY

We believe that God's Word instructs us to be a ministering body of believers.  Therefore in order to actively be sharing Christ and building believers we teach, encourage and provide opportunities for every church member to be involved in ministry while growing to possess the servant heart demonstrated by Jesus Christ.  2 Corinthians 3:6-9, Ephesians 2:10, 1 Peter 4:10

4.  We value FELLOWSHIP

We believe that God's Word instructs that the church is the family of God.  Therefore in order to provide an environment for sharing Christ and building believers we provide opportunities for the family to be together, enjoy one another and develop Christ honoring relationships.  Psalm 122:1, Acts 2:42-46, Hebrews 10:25

5.  We value COMMUNITY

We believe that God's Word instructs us to have positive interactions in the community where God has placed us.  Therefore in order to actively be sharing Christ and building believers, we do not expect others to come to us, but we go to them, wherever they are, with the gospel message.  Micah 6:8, John 4:3-4, Acts 1:8

6.  We value Giving

We believe that God's Word instructs us to give freely of our time, our abilities and our financial resources.  Therefore in order to provide for the responsibility of sharing Christ and building believers we teach, preach and model biblical stewardship in all areas of life.  Malachi 3:10, Mark 12:42-43, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

We also identified two ASPIRING CORE VALUES

A.  Evangelism - Personal and corporate presentation of the gospel message.

B.  Prayer - Personal and corporate communication with God.
