CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

COMMITMENT: Bi-Weekly

DESCRIPTION: Greeters are the first point of contact for families dropping their kids off for Sunday School. Their job is to greet everyone with a smile and identify first-time guests that need a little extra help.

COMMITMENT: Bi-Weekly

DESCRIPTION: Way-finders are responsible for helping first-time guests “find their way.” They work with greeters to identify new families and make those new families feel as welcome as possible! They direct them to the guest central desk where they can fill out a guest card and get entered into our secure check-in system. Then, they physically walk them to their child’s classroom and introduce them to their child’s teachers.

COMMITMENT: Bi-Weekly

DESCRIPTION: Our Guest Central volunteers work our desk area on Sunday mornings. Their primary job is to make sure first-time guests are entered into our check-in system quickly and efficiently. Guest Central volunteers also make sure the Kidz Ministry space is locked down after families have finished dropping their kids off for Sunday School.

COMMITMENT: Bi-Weekly

DESCRIPTION: Small Group leaders work in a classroom with the same group of kids every other week. They are responsible for leading their class in application activities that help the Bible lessons come to life. The details of these activities are sent to them each week in a pre-planned, pre-prepped lesson plan. Their most important responsibility, however, is simply to build impactful relationships with the kids in their class!

COMMITMENT: Bi-Weekly

DESCRIPTION: Being a Large-Group teacher is one of the most fun jobs in Kidz Ministry! These volunteers are responsible for telling the weekly Bible story to a combined group of either Early Childhood (2yrs-Kindergarten) or Elementary (1st-5th Grade) kids. Every leader is provided with a detailed script to work from each week. If you have an outgoing personality and love teaching kids about Jesus, this job is for you!

COMMITMENT: Weekly (As Needed)

DESCRIPTION: Are you terrified of working with kids but want a way to plug-in and help out? This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! Making sure supplies and facilities are ready for kids on Sunday mornings takes a lot of work and we can’t do it without our amazing prep team! Prep Squad members come in throughout the week based on their own availability to prep craft supplies, make copies, and wash classroom toys.

COMMITMENT: Weekly

DESCRIPTION: C.O.W. or “Church On Wednesdays” is a weekly missions program for 1st-5th graders. Each week, kids participate in a Bible study and work on a service project for an organization in our community. Then, on the last Wednesday of each month, kids go off-campus to deliver the projects they’ve made. C.O.W. volunteers help the Children’s Minister facilitate both the Bible lesson and mission projects.
