Why Join First?
It unites you with others to impact Hood County and the world for Christ.
It gives you the chance to fulfill your life’s purpose and divine destiny.
It introduces a group of people into your life that will fight for your soul.
It provides accountability, opportunity and community for you and your family.
You become a missionary to society for the church by joining this local body in achieving its full redemptive potential.

How To Join
Attend one of our Partnership Interactions. Here you’ll get to connect with other partners and leaders of First while you learn what we are really all about. This isn’t your typical church membership class, but an interaction in which we can learn about each other and a platform for you to get your questions answered. At the end of our time together you will be asked to sign a Partnership Covenant. *for friends who pause at signing a covenant at church, think more of signing up for fuel points at Kroger. It doesn’t bind you to anything, rather “identifies” you as part of the team.

At First, we prioritize relationships. We want to ensure that no member stands alone in life’s spiritual journey so your next step in this process is to join in and experience one of our Small Groups. One of the best barometers of being a Christ follower is the reflection of the fruit of the Spirit, and we utilize Small Groups as the laboratory to cultivate that fruit.

After you have Explored and Experienced First, we invite you to Embark on your journey as a fully-functioning partner of First Baptist. As we work and grow together, our dream is that you will move toward understanding how God has divinely designed you, how you can operate according to the power given to you by the Holy Spirit, and how you can grow in intimacy with Christ.
